Many humans only know us from the films. But most of the information is lies, and the films only show us as stereotypes.
STUFF ABOUT ALIENS:
Sigourney Weaver plays Ellen Ripley in all films. Here they are in order:
Alien: Directed by Ridley Scott, 1979
Aliens: Directed by James Cameron (who also directed The Terminator and Terminator 2), 1986
Alien 3: Directed by David Fincher, 1992
Alien Resurrection: Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, 1997
Spinoffs: Alien vs. Predator (AVP) and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. I don’t even bother with these films since they are PURE fiction.
Important information that’s actually true:
Ellen Ripley was a crew member on the Nostromo. She encountered the aliens and brought them to Earth by accident. She gave birth to an alien and died. But scientists extracted her DNA and cloned her. Alien-humans were born. My great-great grandmother is Ellen Ripley clone # 539, and she has lived the longest for any clone. She’s 86 years old!
Birth cycle: We hatch from an egg as a facehugger (similar to a tadpole). Then we incubate in a living being. This facehugger becomes a chestburster (like a butterfly bursting from its cocoon).

Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the Terminator in the first three films.

Important information that’s actually true:
Skynet is basically a computer gone very wrong. It’s artificial intelligence that became self-aware and wanted to destroy its creators, humans.
This led to the War between men and machines, a long fought battle. Humans beat Skynet and reprogrammed all existing terminators to work with humans. John Connor led the humans to victory in the War. He did send terminators back in time to protect him. His mother was Sarah Connor who died before I was born.
Schwarzenegger’s character is based on my Grandpa, Mike Connor, an African-American terminator bodyguard.
