Hi! I’m Ripley. I’m 16, blond.  Green eyes, sometimes red.  See, my dad, Danny, is a terminator.  My mom, Betty, is part alien and part human. And they have eight kids including me. Mike hatched from his egg recently.

So my media and communications teacher, Sameena Usmani, assigned this blog project, and she wants us to explore our identity and use this space to grow, whatever that means.

I don’t know why we can’t just write in an actual journal.  I hate typing!  I have to learn this whole new program, and I am so bad with computers.  I am not good with technology. I know that’s messed up. I mean, I’m part terminator.

I know you’re wondering.  How does that work, right?

My mom lays an egg.  I hang out for a while and hatch into a facehugger which is kinda like a tadpole. The facehugger needs a host to grow, so I look around for someone, a living thing.  My dad always makes sure he’s the only one in the nursery when a baby is about to hatch. I hug Dad’s face and incubate in him, and Dad pushes me out his chest.  I am born.

And since Dad is a terminator, he doesn’t die like humans do after an alien bursts out his body. He just sews himself back up.  It’s really gross. I mean blood and guts and slime are just everywhere.  Really nasty.  He just cleans it all up and looks at me and smiles. He’s a dad again.

Then, Dad adds terminator parts to me, to help me survive in this world.  I have a CPU in my brain, but I still have emotions.  I have some parts in my legs, so I could be a good runner, if I liked sports that is.

But my parents gave me this curse of a name.  Mom adored my great-great grandmother, Ellen Ripley, and Grandpa took the last name of the family he protected, John and Sarah Connor.  Well, he’s not really my Grandpa. But I’ll get into that later.

That’s my deal. I know you’ve learned everything about us from those movies. Problem is, they only show stereotypes. I mean, only a few aliens and terminators are evil and nasty.  I’ll tell how we are in reality.

Do you want to start from the beginning? Here’s my first post from April 14, 2012: Welcome to my World!

  1. I knew there was alien life here! 😉

  2. If the aliens want to harm us, I really believe they could do that to us long time ago. They are waiting, maybe we become better rivals to them, or become wiser to allow us to talk to them. One or another, not both.

  3. There is something terrific in this blog. Because of something terrific I must read this blog.

Thanks so much for visiting and liking my blog! I really like Alien loves Predator, and I wish he was still writing it! I’m actually going to write about it and other instances of alien-predator friendships. Humans are just so quick to hate anyone who looks different!

      Glad to meet you too!
