As you may know, Hurricane Sandy will whip through around 12 states in America. I’m praying all of you stay safe.
We are trying our best to prepare. Everyone has a flashlight, and we made sandbags to protect a patio door that sometimes floods. We have plenty of food, which is not easy with a huge family like ours.
The major problem we face: we aliens are terrified of storms. And we shriek a lot when thunder hits. If you’ve heard an alien scream, it is NOT pleasant.
Storms can affect terminators too. We have to keep our CPU’s dry, and if we stand in water for too long, we may rust. Dad has a toolbox ready for any emergency surgery.
Please stay safe everyone. Most people will lose power for up to a week. So, obviously I’ll be offline for a while. Take care of yourself!

Thank so much for your concern. Luckily we were very lucky here in Maryland. I feel so much for everyone in NJ and NY. I cannot believe the devastation. Sending all my love to them
Glad to hear you and yours are okay 🙂 We actually got a lot of wind and some rain as far west as here in Louisville, KY but of course, nothing compares to the east coast…
The winds were definitely intense but just seeing the video and photos from NY and NJ makes me so heartbroken. Let’s hope they all recover soon.
