We aliens make the best Halloween costumes. Granted, we already scare humans, so adding anything else just makes us scarier. I went as the Bride of Frankenstein last year, and I think I gave our neighbor a heart attack. My hair was awesome!! It made me around 10 feet tall.
I found some great ideas for human costumes. We all know you want to be as cool as aliens and terminators. So have fun with it on Halloween!

I have to say that Terminator paint job is pretty cool. It would be great if someone managed to make a costume with an alien popping out of their stomach.

Wow! Awesome make up! So… have you bought your copy of Prometheus yet?? Was watching the Blu-Ray tonight… pretty damn awesome 🙂 And the 3D, 4 disc edition has got a shitload of extras, including a documentary that’s almost twice as long as the movie itself 😀
Can you believe I haven’t bought the DVD yet!!!! I suck. I’ve been super busy still taking care of my overgrown brother! Cannot wait to see it. The documentary looks great too!
I started watch the doc last night – it’s pretty interesting but I think it’s a little too detailed, especially when some of it is covered elsewhere in “info pods”
You only get the doc on the 4 disc 3D Blu Ray… so if you don’t have a 3D TV and player, you might see it as a bit of a waste. I look on it as an investment because sooner or later (likely later) I’ll have a 3D TV and player so I’ll have some movies ready.
What’s particularly interesting are the ties to Blade Runner that are not-very-subtly hinted at if you look closely through the extras. I don’t know how much you’d want me to tell you, but Ridley Scott said on the first Alien DVD Commentary that he saw both movies taking place in the same universe and with Prometheus he’s confirmed it.
There’s other tie-in info which I won’ tell if you don’t like spoilers 🙂
Thanks for much for the info. I bought the two disc version yesterday at target but need to exchange it for the four disc set. I read about the connection with Blade Runner. Aliens and terminators all live in the same universe, so Ridley is just figuring this out!
You won’t regret the 4 disc set… if you own the complete Alien anthology on Blu-Ray (and at $40 for 6 discs, there’s no excuse not to :P) you’ll be pleased to know they’ve added as many extras onto the 4 disc set as they did for each movie in the anthology 🙂

My brother Hal actually bought us the 4 disc set AND a blu-ray DVD player! We didn’t even have one. He’s going to set it up this weekend so I can watch everything. I’m SURE I’ll be writing about it soon!
You’ll enjoy… but now you have to splurge on the Alien Anthology and the Blade Runner 5 Disc Set… the one with the Workprint… but wait until Tuesday when they re-release it with all the extras on Blu-Ray too (originally the extras were on DVD…)
