I can finally officially drive! Granted, I still need to have an adult in the car with me, but soon, I’ll being able to drive to the mall by myself!
I drove Mom’s car for the test. I HATE that car. She still hasn’t gotten the alien adaptable headrest. It took me like five minutes to adjust the headrest away from my long head. You would think all cars would have this detachable headrest, but the world is still designed for humans.
I was pretty nervous during the test. I started sweating big time during the parallel parking test. I could see the guy writing on his little clipboard. But I finally figured it out! I sweat so much though that when I got up, slime was all over the seat. You do not want to sit near a sweating alien. Not a pretty sight.
I had to celebrate, so I drove to Chipotle. Mom still looked super nervous and slammed on her invisible brake a few times. But she better get used to it! I mean, I’ll be driving all the time!
On our way home, Mom said I could drive a few times a week, but I also had to drive my sisters to where they needed to go. No way! I don’t mind taking Elizabeth to ballet, but I don’t want to be seen in the same car as Maria, let alone take her to that weird Emo boyfriend’s house. Epic fail!
I cannot wait to get my actual license. I know I’ll need to get away from the house once Mom lays the egg. I don’t think I can clean the goo off another sibling.
Good Luck dear Ripley and be careful, drive safely… Thank you, love, nia
I will be safe! Promise!
