Director Trevor Undi made these amazing videos from two Alexander McQueen runway shows. You can totally see references to my peeps!
The first video shows McQueen’s 2012 Spring/Summer Paris runway show. The lace cowls are inspired by traditional headpieces worn by alien brides. Obviously, our headpieces are MUCH longer to fit our enormous heads, but the idea is still the same. I love this line so much!
And here’s Trevor Undi’s video of the 2012 Autumn/Winter Collection Paris runway show. McQueen’s firm harvested metal from dead terminators for the eye shields and other metal accessories. I think that’s pretty disturbing, but it’s really the same as fur, leather or feathers. And they use a LOT of fur, leather and feathers in this line. So I’m not a big fan. Too many dead critters.
